Good Morning Everyone!

Wow not a post this morning...you gals and guys are slipping! If nee-nee is not at the helm what you guys fall apart???? 

I know Liz, Kristin and Monica have an excuse and I am sure the rest of slept in or are out doing the dirty "S" word. Tis the season eh?

So have you all had a pleasant weekend so far? I feel like I have running around like a chicken with its head cut off personally, but it is all good!

I have been up for what seems like forever. Just not a good morning, protein hated me, didnt wake up easy, felt poopy, lol. Life goes on though and have to head to Costco, but them home in warm clothes trying to stay warm and brace for the storm. The weekend has been good so far and as soon as I get home it will be better, lol.
My grandparents heater died, my grandma is sick so papa is trying to fix it today. They say it is cold as can be even out in your region of the desert. Thats why we have a house there to go get warm, no cold allowed, lol!! Hope you are staying warm!!!!
Oh well off to get my crap done so I can come home and relax!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Good luck to Liz, Kirsten and Monica. Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

PS: You know we would all fall apart and have trouble starting our mornings without you!!

Good Morning Janine and the rest of the crew!   I just got up and let me tell you it felt so good to sleep in.  Last one for a while as I return to work tomorrow.  Just in time for a mega storm to hit so it probably means a few 16 hour days.  Ugh.

Yesterday we drove over to the coast for Jayden's birthday party!  We encountered crappy weather and had to take it slow and easy.  But, we made it.  The kid was stoked to have us there.  Dad also slipped mom $100 to help pay for the party.  See, the caveman can learn! 

Then we came back and went to Joe's Christmas party.  It was good.  I got to wear girl clothes!!!!!  And I even used a bit of war paint on my mug.  Felt good to dress up like a girl once in a while.  The dinner was buffet style and there was plenty of options for me to eat.  The only problem was they had it in a tent at the restaurant and there was NOT enough heaters.  Froze my toes off (among other bits and pieces).  When the alcohol flows that freely (open bar) we tend to leave when everyone gets just a wee bit too tuned up.  We were home by 10.

And then, at 11:30 we decided to go to Wal Mart and buy the kid a bunch of toys and some on-
sale WII games.   There's a couple of other items on the list to get but for the most part Jayden is done.  All I have left is my 3 kids and they're easy.  Alex gave me a list, Siobhan wants $$$$ for her deposit on her apartment for her cat and Nick wants food.  And I want to get something special for my parents.  And Siobhan's boyfriend gets a blanket.  Done.

Today I wrap packages, try and stay warm, and need to go buy another heating pad so I can take it to work to sit on to try and stay warm. 

I hope everyone has a fabu day.  It's supposed to snow here.  It's freezing and I've lost 5 layers of insulation!  Damn, how does everyone stay warm?  I have my heating pad and long underwear.

Wow, what a night we had.  We had 18 for dinner last night, had alot of fun, but what a long day.  Started at 9 yesterday morning and ended at 11 last night, after Doug and I got everything cleaned up.  Do you know how much silverware there is when you have 18 people and there are 5 pieces for each place setting.   Crap, and I washed all that stuff by hand.  Doug and I were so tired, I was sitting and hanging over the sink washing, and Doug was sitting down drying.  We washed everything by hand, and just put a few things in the dishwasher.  Guess what we are doing today???? NOTHING!  I mean nothing.  Doug dragged my bed (recliner) downstairs so people had more places to sit last night, and three of the guys brought it back upstairs before they left.  I did get into bed this morning, and tried hard to sleep there.  It feels much better cuddling next to my own personal heater (Dougie) than trying to snuggle in a comforter. 

Well I am off to sit on my ass and watch some football.  Dang, I miss my NASCAR!  Love to you all, have a great day.

Good Morning Janine and Cali guys and gals.

Actually Iwas up at 4:00 but for some reason this web site will not let me post anything new!  I don't know why but that is what it is doing. So I have to wait until someone posts and then I can answer them.  Yesterday we organized closets and put outfits together for the girls and did all their drawers over and organized them.  We have installed baby locks on all the drawers as the little ones actually got in the bottom drawer yesterday and tipped over the dresser!  It was funny actually, but I am so glad they did not get hurt.  Today we are doing the boys rooms and getting their closets organized and labled and everything like that  and hanging more pictures.  This morning I was up so made a big breakfast for all the kids and they just loved it.  It is freezing here feels like snow but not going to happen today!  lol  Well I better get back to organizing.  Janine if you read this give me a call today I should be home all the day.  I am going to run to Wally world to get some yarn and some cookie sheets but other than that I will be working around here all day.  Have a super day everyone and Stay warm!

Another middle of the night playtime so we slept in a bit.  Getting things organized befor grandmother gets here to do the weekly errands.  Then back home to make my holiday cookies to give out.
